As Managing Director, David’s main role is to help MA in delivering its vision and supporting everyone in achieving their goals – but most importantly – giving his staff his “almost legendary” dose of optimism.
Since completing his Master’s in Business and Management, David has dedicated his career to recruitment and talent development, with most of this journey being with MA.
Joining MA back in 2000 as a recruitment consultant, David’s ambition quickly saw him go up the ranks, becoming Sales Director after just a few years. It was at this point that the recession hit. With MA facing a challenging cycle as a result, David proposed a revised strategy to the shareholders – to continue operating with vertical specialists, but adding a market-centric approach to provide recruitment specialists not only on the technology, but on the business culture within each market location we operated within.
It was this new strategy proposal that saw the shareholders make a restructure to the leadership team and appointed David as Managing Director to execute his strategy.
It’s this strategy that’s responsible for retaining some of our biggest consulting clients and remains at the core of MA’s strategy, vision and future today.
