We are delighted to announce that Montreal Associates is an official partner of La French Tech London, the official hub of the La French Tech ecosystem in London. “La French Tech” is a unique government-backed movement bringing together all entrepreneurs, investors and corporates of the French London Start-up and Tech scene who are working towards growth and international promotion.
French Tech London currently has the biggest community outside of France, with La French Tech’s Global ecosystem made up of over 13 Capitals and 38 communities in France as well as 47 communities rooted in almost 100 cities worldwide. Each local team play a vital role in stimulating their local ecosystem and making their mission happen “To make France one of the greatest places in the world to launch and grow global companies that make sense for our future”.
The sponsorship, which commenced at the end of 2019, is part of Montreal Associates’ ongoing commitment to helping connect French and foreign businesses, bring customers together to speak and provide expert advice on various business & staffing topics, and build relationships beyond recruitment. David Thuillier, Managing Director for Montreal Associates explains:
"For us, the partnership with La French Tech London enables us to highlight the importance in fuelling growth for start-ups and the tech industry that can in-turn help us build a smarter future. La French Tech London has proven itself to be a hugely successful movement and has grown a well-known community ecosystem – something very valuable for us. With their focus on growth for French business, we can support them in their mission by providing our platform to help connect businesses across Europe and enable them to utilise our resources, expertise and services."
French Tech London’s President, Raph Crouan says: "
We’re thrilled to be partnering with Montreal Associates. As a technology staffing business based in London and Barcelona who has maintained and grown their service partnerships with many French & European organisations over the years, this sponsorship sees a strong mutual alignment in our missions and commitments to help connect other communities across the world.
The first few months of our collaboration with Montreal Associates have been very promising and I can’t wait to see all we can achieve together moving forward in 2020, starting by working on alternative ways of engaging our communities in this new context of Covid19 before resuming our face to face activities."
From small engagements with 1-2-1 discussions and relationship-building, to large events to provide visibility and awareness to our partners – across the board Montreal Associates will continue to support La French Tech London to run various events and activities that focus on raising conversation and awareness, particularly around three topics: Deep Tech, FinTech and Tech4Good.
Just recently, Montreal Associates was pleased to sponsor the first Tech4Good meetup event by La French Tech London. The topic of discussion for the event was Diversity & Inclusion vs. Hypergrowth where our Head of People & Culture, Matt Ashby-Cooper formed part of the panel to offer his insight and expertise on D&I, its integral role in improving business performance and advise their community on how they can implement an effective D&I strategy.
Importantly, in uncertain and devastating times, we want the announcement of our partnership to act as a great reminder of how valuable online community and collaboration is. We will be working hard to support La French Tech London to continue growing their online community and provide opportunities to network, connect and gain awareness in a digital setting whilst our physical meetups and events take necessary absence.
