While Paris may be the capital of the country, Lyon is one of the top 20 most attractive European cities for digital developers, with more than 300 million euros raised for Tech startups in 2019 alone.
However, many people are bilingual and speak English as their second language.

13% of the population are foreign-born, with many coming from Africa and other countries in Europe.
The city is also known as the gastronomical capital of France, with 14 Michelin star restaurants.
