Job Title: SAP EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager

Location: Anywhere in Germany

Job Summary: As an SAP EHS Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP EHS modules to support clients' environmental compliance, occupational health, and workplace safety initiatives. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their EHS requirements, provide strategic guidance, and deliver innovative solutions that promote sustainability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of SAP EHS solutions, including Incident Management, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Product Safety, and Environmental Compliance Management, to meet clients' EHS objectives and regulatory requirements.
  2. Project Management: Manage end-to-end SAP EHS implementation projects, including project planning, resource allocation, budget management, and milestone tracking.
  3. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their EHS challenges, assess their business processes, and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP EHS.
  4. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document EHS requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and design solution architectures.
  5. Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP EHS modules based on business requirements, customize functionalities as needed, and ensure integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  6. Compliance Management: Implement and maintain EHS compliance processes, including incident reporting, regulatory reporting, waste management, and emissions tracking.
  7. Risk Management: Establish risk assessment methodologies and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize EHS risks and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  8. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and client teams on SAP EHS functionalities, best practices, and compliance procedures.
  9. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  10. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, EHS professionals, project sponsors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about changes in EHS regulations, SAP EHS updates, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation in EHS management processes.
