IT Operation Engineer- London

Montreal Associates are looking for a IT Operation Engineer for a client based in London.

Location: Central London / 4 days onsite. Nearest underground station : Bank

Start Date: ASAP

Duration/length: 6-month renewable contract, long-term assignment

Languages: English / French could be a plus

Background and Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the following technologies: Windows and Linux servers, VMware, Active Directory, Networks basics, Microsoft Exchange

Nice to have :

• Knowledge on Citrix, Veeam, AWS, Azure, MS SQL, Oracle
• Experience in an international company

Objectives :

• Maintain systems operationnal
• Provide level 2 support
• Handle upgrades and patches

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of level 2 tickets
• Monitor systems, networks and infrastructure workflows
• Upgrade and patch our systems and hardware
• Open and follow incidents with providers
• Document incidents and processes
