A Decade of SAP Talent Delivery for Moët Hennessy

Supporting Moët Hennessy’s Enterprise Systems
Moët Hennessy Information Systems supports the technology needs of the LVMH Group’s global wines and spirits business.
We began working together in 2011, providing SAP and enterprise systems contractors to support its developing technology requirements.
Over the partnership, our role evolved. Initially, the team needed people to help build capacity and support system expansion. As those systems matured, the priority shifted to finding and retaining experienced consultants who could support optimization and provide continuity for longer-running programs.
Our support adapted alongside those changing needs, developing from individual hiring requirements into an established enterprise systems partnership.

From Expansion to Optimization
Moët Hennessy’s hiring needs changed as its enterprise systems developed.
Early phases required additional SAP contractors who could quickly contribute to implementation and expansion. As the systems became more complex, the team needed deeper functional expertise, program support, and people familiar with established applications.
Later, continuity became increasingly important. Retaining consultants who understood the organization and its systems helped preserve knowledge built over the course of their assignments.
The challenge was to keep recruitment aligned with each stage: adding capacity when needed, then supporting stability and long-term contribution as the program matured.

A Long-Term SAP Talent Continuity Model
At MA, we developed our SAP recruitment approach around Moët Hennessy’s changing requirements. We focused on building access to relevant specialists and supporting their continued involvement as the work progressed.
Targeted SAP Network Development
We built and maintained a network of SAP consultants aligned with Moët Hennessy’s core systems.
This gave us a foundation for supporting new requirements as they arose, from functional consultants and developers to project management and enterprise systems specialists.
System Knowledge Retention
We prioritized contractors with relevant organizational and system familiarity, recognizing the value of people who already understood the environment.
Our approach aimed to reduce onboarding risk and support operational continuity as assignments and programs developed.
Expansion-to-Optimisation Transition
As the systems matured, we adapted our hiring strategy accordingly.
Alongside additional delivery capacity, we supported requirements focused on optimization, ongoing support, and program leadership. This kept our recruitment activity connected to what the team needed at each stage.
Long-Term Contractor Engagement
We supported assignment extensions and continuity planning to help preserve knowledge within the team.
Keeping experienced consultants involved helped maintain familiarity with the systems and provided consistent support across longer project lifecycles.
